2017 History

March 12, 2017 - Engraved Bricks Installed

The engraved brick project finally came to a close when the bricks were laid in front of the museum entrance on March 12. The bricks were sold to secure funds for the museum operation at $100 per brick.

Tri-State Motorcycle Rally

On September 2, the 1st annual Tri-State Thunder Motorcycle Rally was held in St. Francis. More than 400 visitors registered at the museum. A poker run was held with 58 riders participating on a 142 mile route.

Several vendors provided shopping and eating opportunities. Some new model (2018) Harley-Davidson motorcycles were displayed as well as several different motorcycle trailers.

Adam Capps Band Concert

A concert was held in Sawhill Park's historic bandshell in the evening. The Adam Capps Band provided music, and a crowd of several hundred people enjoyed the concert.
